"We Should Live" was commissioned by La Crosse Chamber Chorale as part of their "WORDS TO MUSIC" PROJECT. Local composers were asked to choose a one poem out of a stack of 200 that were written by area school children. I chose "We Should Live" because it spoke of "empathy in action." The poet is Miss Anna Durall, an 8th grader at Lincoln Middle School. The piece will be performed by La Crosse Chamber Chorale as part of their concert season on November 8 and 9, 2014.
